It is often easy to recognize the impact that a stroke, traumatic brain injury or brain infection has on someone. What is often overlooked is the loss, stress, and the daily challenges of the caregiver which can be traumatic and life changing as well. Caregivers often do not have many emotional outlets and resources available for help. Here we are hoping to collect information about resources, as well as sharing our stories, strengths and encouragements with each other.
It turns out, my husband's thyroid was a little low. Medication should at least help some. I'm not sure if it will help completely, but any change in the right direction will be great.
